Key Highlights of the Han Spot Experience
Han Spot All Day Dim Sum offers several compelling reasons why it has become a favored dining spot for locals and visitors alike. These distinctive features contribute significantly to its reputation and appeal:
All-Day Dim Sum Service: This is perhaps the most defining characteristic. Commitment to Freshness and Authenticity: The kitchen prioritizes the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients, which is crucial for the delicate nature of dim sum. The preparation methods adhere closely to traditional Cantonese standards, resulting in perfectly textured wrappers and richly seasoned fillings. This dedication ensures that every bite delivers the true essence of the cuisine.
Diverse Menu Offerings: While the classics are executed flawlessly, the menu boasts an impressive variety that goes beyond the standard fare. Diners can explore a wide spectrum of options, ranging from delicate shrimp dumplings (har gow) and savory pork buns (char siu bao) to unique seasonal offerings and expertly prepared main courses, ensuring there is something to satisfy every palate.
Welcoming and Accessible Location: Situated conveniently at 9811 Washingtonian Blvd, the restaurant benefits from excellent accessibility within Gaithersburg. The atmosphere strikes a perfect chord—bustling enough to feel lively and authentic, yet comfortable enough for relaxed, extended meals with company.

Han Spot was great! I came here with my colleagues and we had a blast. They have a karaoke machine. We all had fun singing and I loved the rotating table so everyone could share and eat. It felt very authentic. The only complain I have is … More

It was very cute and the food was good but I wish there was better descriptions of the food. I ended up eating something that I didn't know fish in it and by the time I realized it I had swallowed a little and got sick all night. … More

Heard pros and cons about this place, instead of taking other people's opinions and avoiding this place. I went in today for dinner and checked it out myself. Highly decorated place from the outside patio to the interior of the restaurant. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. Ordered different dishes from the Happy hour appetizer & Dimsum menu. I ordered 4 dishes, and a pot of chrysanthemum tea. Nothing tasted frozen (thank god!) Everything was at right temperature and presentation was just right. the Bartender, Nicole was the one to take my order. (I sat across from the bar) her and team were working well together. I wanted to finish my food, but of course my stomach has its limits. I will definitely come here again, either alone or with some friends. 🫶

Delicious! The soup dumplings were so flavorful and tender. The cucumber salad and hot and sour soup were also very well done. Prices were very reasonable. We can’t wait to go back! More

It’s a dim sum buffet restaurant. There are two different price options, we opted for option B that included Peking duck. While most dishes were enjoyable, a few were disappointing.
An automatic tip was added, and it was calculated on the tax-included total. That’s a first time for me. I hope they have changed their practice.
Highly Recommended:
•北京烤鸭(Beijing Duck): Perfectly crispy skin.
• 汉皇牛柳粒 (Han Style Fillet Mignon)Tender and flavorful.
• 核桃玻璃大虾 (Crispy Walnut Shrimp):
A classic done well.
•蟹黄炒饭 (Crab Meat Fried Rice):Full
of flavor and the rice was cooked a bit al dente, just the right texture
• 紫金流沙包 (Purple Gold Yolk Bun):A
must-try dessert.
Skip These:
Unfortunately, the Braised Beef with Radish Casserole, Crab Meat Tofu, Spicy Chili Wonton, and Sesame Ball were not fresh and didn't meet expectations.

Pretty good and authentic chinese food, located in the beautiful Rio! Love how spacious the place is.
They have all day dim sum but selection is not as extensive as other dim sum spots. I personally won't revisit for the dim sum but the entrees are amazing. We ordered the han's filet mignon and crab fried rice both were super tasty. Portion is really really huge!
